Pet Peeve #2

I don't know if it is just me but I think it makes customers look so dumb when they bring another store's cart into our store. Especially when it is completely different. Our shopping carts are 90% red. They main color of Target is red. Why would it seem logical to bring a cart that is mainly all silver into the store. How do you not change it when you walk into the store to see everyone else pushing a different cart? Or when you walk past the cart well full of red Target shopping carts? I was bought some items after I got off today and was checking out while there was a lady in front of me with a Safeway cart. The cashier joking around with her told her that he charged her $2.00 for bringing in another store's cart. She was like "Did you really charge me?" Jeez, how dumb are you? No, you're just a dumbass with no common sense that will believe anything. Customers...

Coupon Scammers

These people really tick me off. What they do is buy hella stuff with coupons, and are usually items such as razors, crest white strips, vitamins, etc. They then proceed to return everything that they bought and at the registers the items come back at its original price and not the discounted price from the coupon. So they are then receiving more money back that they can spend anywhere. This makes me mad because all my supervisors say there is nothing that we can do by law. They have no idea how badly I would love to punch them in the face. Just the other day, we had someone doing this and you could tell how nervous he was. He was just a skinny little white guy wearing a tall tee and his hands shaking as he kept putting things on the counter. He was either nervous or on drugs. I don't see why Target can't put up one of the signs somewhere that says, "We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone." Why can't we just say no? Does Target know how much money they lose in these transactions? Scammers....

Pet Peeve #1

Well today as usual, I will get the people that feel the need to come up to me and ask me, "Are you open?"  This annoys me sooooo much.  I just want to say to them, "No I am not open, I am just standing here behind this register with the light on for no reason."  Why must people ask such a dumb question with an obvious answer. I am really thinking about starting to just tell them no and go to another register with someone else standing there with the light on. Customers....
